Free public-domain audiobooks

Great books. Nothing attached.

Search LibriVox, press play, and keep listening wherever you go. MyVoxBox remembers your place, downloads chapters for offline listening, and never asks you to create an account.

No sign-up. No ads. Works in a modern browser.

MyVoxBox removes the account setup, subscription prompts, and library lock-in. Open it and listen.

02 · LISTEN

03 · RETURN

Pick up where you stopped.

Your playback position, favorites, and listening history are remembered in your browser.

The small conveniences that matter after chapter one.

MyVoxBox is designed for long-form listening across days, devices, bedtimes, and unreliable connections.

Offline chapters

Download only what you need, listen without a connection, and remove files whenever you want the space back.

A sleep timer made for books

Choose a time limit or stop at the end of the current chapter, where finding your place again is easy.

Automatic position memory

Close the browser and return later. Your place in each chapter is restored automatically.

Installable, but never mandatory

Use it as a regular website or add it to your home screen as a fast, offline-capable progressive web app.

Your listening habits are yours.

MyVoxBox does not require a personal account or a server-side listening profile. The library state that makes the player useful stays in your browser.

The player still connects to LibriVox and the recording host to find and play books. Any site analytics should be described separately and accurately in the deployed privacy notice.

No account identity

No email address, password, profile, or sign-in flow is needed to listen.

Local listening state

Favorites, history, downloads, and playback positions are stored on your device.

Portable data

Export your local metadata and import it elsewhere instead of depending on a proprietary cloud library.

Verifiable code

The Apache-2.0 source can be inspected, audited, and run independently.
